KISE Visits Science Carnival: Innovations of Today for a Brighter Tomorrow

Science Week Carnival (Karnival Minggu Sains) 2024 was a great opportunity for KISE students to explore the world around them and beyond! The students got to marvel at futuristic technological advancements. They walked around, stopping at booths that caught their eyes and listened to the explanation from the young inventors about their creations.

Furthermore, the students also got to experience some of these technological marvels first-hand. For example, they had the chance to enter the Portable Dome Show by Terengganu Science & Creativity Centre and were transported to outer space. Other than that, they also tried the virtual reality headset, most of them for the first time. There is no better word to describe this experience than ‘immersive.’

Throughout the day, the students showcased a great interest in learning and understanding how each gadget and tool works. Even though they might not be able to fully understand all the complex terms, they now have the idea planted in their minds that, “Anything is possible.”

It was also inspiring how some of the exhibitors were as young as high school students. For KISE students, it is surely a glimpse into their own future where they’ll bet the ones creating these cool gadgets for the benefit of society.
