The Family Sports Festival 2024 was a great opportunity for KISE students and their families to come together and engage in fun, active pursuits! They got to participate in exciting sports events, fostering teamwork, fitness, and bonding. Furthermore, the parents were given the chance to watch their children perform on stage in front of the crowd!
Furthermore, the students also got to experience the excitement of Family Sports Festival 2024 first-hand. For example, they participated in various games like football match, relay race, and putting water in a bottle using a sponge. Here, they learned the importance of teamwork and perseverance. Some of them engaged in some of these sports for the first time, making the experience both challenging and thrilling.
Throughout the day, the students displayed great enthusiasm in learning the rules and strategies of each sport. Even though some might not have mastered every technique, they now have the idea planted in their minds that, “With effort and teamwork, anything is possible.”
The most exciting game for everyone was coconut bowling because the parents got to join in on the fun! The students and their parents played side by side on this joyful day, deepening their bond. Furthermore, halfway through the event, the parents, students and teachers all sat down to have a potluck together and strengthen their understanding of each other.
It was inspiring to see these young participants showing great sportsmanship and a shining confidence. For KISE students, this festival was surely a glimpse into their own future, where they will continue to embrace active lifestyles and foster community spirit.
